Prior to joining Venzie, Phillips and Warshawer in 2006 as an associate and focusing his practice in commercial and construction litigation, Mr. Venzie worked as a contract attorney for the law firm of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where his practice focused on various stages of the discovery process for securities and employment discrimination cases. In addition, Mr. Venzie served as a legal intern for the Office of Regional Counsel of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region III in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he worked on matters for the CERCLA/Superfund practice group. Mr. Venzie also interned as a summer law clerk for then President Judge Honorable Howard F. Riley, Jr. of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in West Chester, Pennsylvania where his duties involved legal research and writing on various criminal matters.
In his spare time, Mr. Venzie is an active participant in many construction industry trade assocations. He is currently serving a three year term as a board member for the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Chapter of the American Concrete Institute and was selected as the 2010-2011 Co-Chair of the Young Executives Committee for the Delaware Contractors Association. He also plays in adult ice hockey leagues in the West Chester, Pennsylvania area and was a member of Vermont Law School's ice hockey team in 2002-2003 where he spent his first year of law school. |
